I have this problem with a 9000, it'll drain the battery in 6 hrs. And I don't know if I need to upgrade to .464 or not. I really don;t have the time.

Running 5.0.0.411 on my Bold 9000, and have been for nearly a couple of months now (since Vodafone released the official update). I haven't had any power problems, in fact if anything it's felt like the battery lasts longer than OS4. I don't know what you use on yours, but on mine I habitually switch WiFi off if I'm not going to be home (or other friendly location) in the next 24 hours, I don't use Bluetooth at all so have that disabled (I know a friend with a Bluetooth headset always moans about his Bold's battery life), other than that I don't do anything special with it and use GPS & 3G all the time. |

I installed the os 5 on a bold 9000 but the memory was the biggest problem. So got back to 4.6 |

I don't believe 5.0 is available to the US yet (officially at least). Even though I didn't have 5.0, my battery life was terrible. My 9700 is great. It's a night and day difference with the battery life. |

I updated to OS 5.0.0.592 two days ago and mu battery life is now disastrous. It was fully charged this morning at 8.00am amd now, three and half hours later, is at 45% even though I have not used it at all!! I have deleted all extraneous applications and checked that the minimum is running - it makes no difference. I am getting close to the point where I cannot afford to use this device as it is a liability |

Try other version, I found out, as you can see above, it had nothing to do with the OS version. Sometimes is the OS, most of the times others things are like battery giving up or problems with the mainboard, like I had with my latest 9000. |
