How soon do you get to create tags on know.bbhacker.com? I keep trying to use new ones, but I keep getting the error message saying "new users are not allowed to create tags".

You need a reputation of 250 to create new tags. As of now you will get it with one more vote. Why is this happening? The reason is that know.bbhacker is a site based on the popular stackoverflow.com site. This is a site for programmers and they had a very strong initial community to start with. They are now opening up the site and allow clones but they are still in an early beta and the developers of stackexchange.com are still working out the relevant parameters to make sure that early user adoptio is easy. So, soon you will be able to create tags and hopefully the development team will work fast so that I have more options for configuration. |
