There is a new app out by Vodafone for the BlackBerry that updates your twitter and facebook all in one. Did anyone already try it?

I did and I'll post a review soon. Bottom line: it's a nice app but incomplete (of course, in light of #SocialScope and #UberTwitter). |

Tried it out (just for Facebook, I'm not a Twitterrer). It doesn't replace the Blackberry Facebook client (or website) but does complement it very well. All it shows is Facebook friends' status updates, but it does do that very well. It supports "Like"s and comments on the status updates, showing you them and letting you contribute them. It does have the handy notification icon at the top of the Bold's home screen (though would prefer a Facebook "F" icon to the Vodafone logo) with the number of new updates listed and does seem to load and list the updates faster than the official client. Only downside is that it can be a bit awkward scrolling through the entries and selecting specific links with the trackball, they need to have a look at the "tab order" and scrolling behaviour. Conclusion, after using for a couple of days (and disabling the vibrate for new status updates option) I'll keep it installed and running as a handy notifier and quick way of keeping up with status updates and the conversations on them. |

I've been using it for the past few days on my Storm. It is much better than I thought it would be, and there are some interesting features that aren't on any other client. New tweets show in their own screen, so you don't have to remember where you left off. Only complaint there is they don't start at the oldest tweet, you have to scroll from newest to oldest. |
